Chris Sargeant, Owner and Trainer

Chris Sargeant purchased CDN Safety Training in April 2016. With nearly 20 years of management experience in both construction and retail construction, he is fully versed in the latest safety training programs and certifications — making the transition to ownership of CDN the next logical progression.

Workplace safety is second nature to Chris – having managed construction sites with upwards of 40 homes per year, from start to finish. His team was personally trained and certified by Chris in proper workplace safety techniques in a range of areas.

As the General Manager of one of Eastern Ontario’s largest building centres, Chris garnered valuable experience working with both staff teams and the public in a retail construction setting. Safety was a top priority at all times and he oversaw all employee training programs and certifications.

He is an “outside the box” thinker very capable of motivating others to achieve their very best.  Clients enjoy training with Chris and the safety results speak for themselves.
